TWO major charities will be boosted by a golf day teed-up by Perth-based timber windows company Broxwood.
Today’s event at Craigie Hill will assist Tourette Scotland and The Dystonia Society.
The event is designed to help raise awareness and support.
Broxwood have supported Tourette Scotland and The Dystonia Society for a number of years and this will be the fourth annual “T-Off” event
Supported by Craigie Hill Golf Club, it will see teams from a wide range of companies participating.Strong local support continues again this year with teams from Spectraglass, Clark Thomson, Strathmore Motors, Bannerman Decorators, Roy Coles Accounting, Tayside Police and Perth Fire all taking part.
Broxwood managing director, Olav Skretteberg, explained: “Our sponsorship policy enables us to support a number of good causes both financially and with practical help where we can. We have received a remarkable response to this year’s ‘T-Off’ which, once again, is fully subscribed, with a wide range of companies coming together to help to provide invaluable support to people with Tourette Syndrome and Dystonia and to their families.”
The auction will include a Celtic shirt kindly signed and donated by the famous Lisbon Lions.
Janice Mylan, who runs the Perth-based charity Tourette Scotland, said: “The ‘T-Off’ golf event is a great way of helping us raise awareness and funds for our organisation. We are extremely grateful to Broxwood and Craigie Hill Golf Club and send our sincere thanks to all those companies taking part for their much welcome support.”
