Charity Texas tee-off
A SUCCESSFUL Golf Day held at Craigie Hill raised £4000 towards the cost of the Perth Academy 1st XV rugby team’s 2010 tour.
The event, sponsored by Bannerman Decorators and Crown Paints, took the form of a Texas Scramble.
The trophy was presented by sponsor Ewan Bannerman to Sandy Watt, of George Stubbs Financial Services, and his team of Brian Cavellini, John McCole and Jimmy Fotheringham. They pipped a Bannerman Decorators team featuring Grant Ager, Eric Nicolson, Richard Wilkins and Gordon Bannerman.
Other fundraisers are in the pipeline to secure their goal of a tour to Canada, Australia or Argentina in 2010.
