Clubbing together

A RECENT “T-Off for Charity” golf event staged at Craigie Hill Golf Club raised more than £2500.

Twenty teams representing a range of local and nationwide companies came together at the event to help raise funds for Tourette Scotland and The Dystonia Society.

A cheque presentation was made to Janice Mylan of Tourette Scotland at Craigie Hill Golf Club.

She said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive such a wonderful donation from “T-Off for Charity.”

“This additional funding will help Tourette Scotland to continue and enhance much-needed support and advice services for children and adults with Tourette Syndrome (TS) and associated disorders including ADHD, OCB, Aspergers and Dyslexia.”

Event organiser and Broxwood managing director Olav Skretteberg added: “Corporate colleagues have helped to improve quality of life for others simply by coming together for one afternoon to enjoy great golf at Perth’s own Craigie Hill Golf Club.

“We thank everyone who helped with this year’s successful “T-Off for Charity” event and for helping to raise meaningful financial support for Tourette Scotland and The Dystonia Society.”

Efforts are already focused on preparing for next year’s event and anyone interested in registering for “T-Off for Charity 2009” should contact Crawford Buchan on 01738 444456.
