CRIEFF Golf Club player Roseanne Niven was part of the Scotland team which finished tied for 11th place at the Women’s World Amateur Team Championships in Australia.
The 2008 British champion – pictured below – had a disappointing start to the Adelaide event, carding 78, 81 and 83 before an impressive final round 72. Top Scot was Krystle Caithness, who was joint sixth in the individual rankings.
Roseanne, from Tibbermore, is studying at the University of California.
The gifted 19-year-old captured the British Women’s Open Amateur Strokeplay title in Northern Ireland this season.
Sweden took the Espirito Santo title, with 48 countries represented Down Under.
