Last Saturday, a Texas Scramble followed by a disco and buffet was held for Trevor and Irene Filshie, stewards for the last three years, who have left to take over a bar/restaurant near Helmsdale. It was an indication of how popular they were when 42 teams of four entered the competition and the clubhouse was packed with people wishing them well ( and buying them drinks!!!). The club are grateful for all they did for Craigie Hill and wish them success in their new venture.
