PERTH and Kinross players are counting down to the Allied Surveyors Scottish Amateur Championship.
They are among the leading 250 players, with a maximum handicap of 2.4, signed-up for the SGU's flagship event, which dates back to 1922.
Past winners include Ronnie Shade, Charlie Green, Colin Montgomerie and Stephen Gallacher.
This year’s event unfolds at Gullane No1 from July 26-31.
Blairgowrie teenager Connor Neil is among the younger players making for East Lothian and internationalists Danny Young (Craigie Hill) and Paul McPhee, of King James VI, are also lining-up.
The field also includes former Scottish champion Graham Lowson of Auchterarder Golf Club, along with Steve Carruthers (Pitlochry), David Logie (Craigie Hill), David Simpson, Greig Stewart, Angus Weir and Fergus Niven (both Crieff), Andrew Jackson (Kinross), Jamie Arthur (Milnathort), Stuart McKendrick (Dunkeld and Birnam) and Stuart Graham (Blairgowrie).
