PITLOCHRY Golf Club’s Charity Golf Day has been boosted by US Ryder Cup star Phil Mickelson.
The club is raising cash for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent on September 22.
And the three times Masters champion has had a hand in an auction prize donated by supporters in the USA.
Mickelson signed an Augusta Masters flag while competing at the Barclays Scottish Open at Castle Stuart in Inverness.
Now it has been presented to Pitlochry for their fundraiser.
Course suppliers, manufacturers and sponsors have all contributed to make the Charity Golf Day an auspicious occasion.
A lunch for four at the Royal and Ancient in St Andrews and top-of-the-range golf gear are also on offer.
“For £200 entry fee per team, teams of team get a great day of competition and socialising, a dinner, prize giving and there are some fantastic prizes in the auction.
“It has been a big team effort putting it all together and it will be a great day out for a fantastic cause,” said a club spokesman.
