S1 boys travel to Musselburgh

LAST Sunday, the S1 took a team to Musselburgh and played games against Lasswade and Musselburgh clubs.

The boys played some good rugby, particularly in the first game, where good support play and use of the ball gave them a comfortable win.

The second game was more difficult but, despite tiring, they moved the ball wide and were unlucky not to profit from some good rucking.

The only downside was the number of missed tackles.

IN a tightly-fought game last Sunday at Musselburgh, the S2s showed great character, winning 26-24.

A great individual try by Andre was complemented by three more from Robbie, Calum and Ben.

This Sunday they are away at Dundee. Please be at Bell’s at 10am.

Minis

THE P6 team played a friendly tournament away at Howe of Fife on Sunday. They lost narrowly to Mackie and Stirling but won their games against Howe and Dundee.

Good passing and support play with some excellent tackling was evident throughout the four matches. Well done to them all.

There is training this Sunday at Perth Grammar School, 10am start. Bring outdoor and indoor kit.
