Taylor back in national side

CRIEFF favourite Simon Taylor has been recalled to the Scotland squad after injury.

The team to face Canada in Aberdeen tomorrow lists five changes.

Scotland coach Frank Hadden said: “There is an element of freshening up the squad and it’s also an opportunity to look at certain blends ahead of the Six Nations but, as ever, the selection is about winning the game.”

Taylor, who plays his rugby in France with Stade Francais, has been sidelined with a calf injury.
