Rugby: Scotland stars join school training

SCOTLAND rugby internationals Max and Thom Evans spent an afternoon at Strathallan School last week coaching school rugby squads.

The rugby stars, who also play for the Glasgow Warriors, are the 45th set of brothers to play for Scotland and took to their coaching roles with great ease and confidence.

Their rigorous training drills were enthusiastically received by all the pupils and Max and Thom generously allowed extra time for a question and answer session to discuss all aspects of life as a professional rugby player.

The afternoon's session definitely inspired the school's rising stars.

Currently Strathallan has six 1st XV players selected for Caledonia U17 and U18 training squads and sixth form pupil, Ryan Hood is a member of the U18 Scotland squad.
