HOT on the heels of winning the Joules equestrian event of the year award at the BETA gala dinner in Birmingham, Blair Castle International Horse Trials has won another prestigious prize, the Scottish Equestrian Association’s (SEA) trade and industry award.
The trials’ assistant director Hannah Wilkins who accepted the award said: “It is fantastic that Blair is being recognised by the trade in this way. We have always been a popular event with competitors and spectators but it is important to remember the stand holders, who add so much to visitors’ enjoyment of the event.”
The association works closely with the British Equestrian Trade Association who recommended Blair for this award. Claire Williams of BETA explained: “Blair very much works with the trade, as much as for it. So many of our members felt that there wasn’t a contest.”
The Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair takes place this year from August 26-29. Further information on Blair Castle International Horse Trials from www.blairhorsetrials.co.uk
