Rugby: Perthshire Eagles and Colts

* * * * *

Colts

IT IS the first round of the Caledonia Cup and the young Eagles are away to Alloa with a 1pm kick off.

All players are asked to meet at Bell’s at 11.15am as we will be travelling with the 1st XV on route to Dunfermline.

As we have an earlier start arrangements have been made to allow the squad to watch the second half of the senior game and then return with them back to Perth.

Can all players ensure that they are in playing kit for the bus journey as there will be only a short warm up period available at the Alloa ground.

Smart dress for the return journey please.

Players are being asked to make the return journey on the bus in expectation of the Senior and Colts players socialising together.

And congratulations have gone to Kyle McKinnon who made his Caledonia District debut against Scottish Exiles at Stirling County last Sunday.

The game was a close encounter with the Exiles winning 19–17 but there was little to choose between the two sides, and the home side seemed the dominant side in the scrums where McKinnon played tight head prop.

Kyle, who is currently in the Perthshire Development Academy, has a number of training sessions to follow before the next game against Glasgow.
