COLTS: A FRIENDLY fixture against Strathmore has been organised for tomorrow in preparation for the Caledonian Cup final on April 10.
The kick off is 2pm and will be played in Forfar, so players are asked to meet at Bell’s at noon.
With no bus available the coaches are looking for parental volunteers to help transport some of the players to the Strathmore ground.
Details for the cup final weekend are being finalised, and with the added success of the U16s in reaching their respective final, the club will be providing two buses to transport players and supporters to Highland Rugby Club in Inverness.
Club President Bob Falconer has made it clear that this should be a Perthshire day out, and has invited players and supporters of all ages to make the journey North.
“This is a fantastic achievement by the players and coaches of both teams and it really does underline the strength and quality of our current youth programme,” he said.
“Whatever the outcome, we are there to cheer on the boys and to make it a day to remember.”
Places on the buses will be limited so those wishing to reserve a seat should contact Andy on 07835 929954.
