THE third Scottish Golden Oldies Festival will be held tomorrow on the North Inch and all Perthshire Golden Eagles, the veteran arm of the rugby club, should congregate at 10am near the registration tent.

After last year’s amazing unbeaten performance, team manager Stuart Ferguson has yet to finalise his starting squad and knows the importance of his announcement.

“Preparations have been thorough, and no stone has been left unturned, we will take it one game at a time, but I am confident that the boys will deliver on the day.”

Games begin at 11am and continue throughout the day with friendship and fraternity running as the key themes on the day.

The first Perth Beer Festival will held as a backdrop to the days activities and should prove a valuable aid in the performances on the day.
