KINROSS athlete Eilidh Child has got her season off to a flying start.
The talented 400m hurdler was in action at an invit-ation meet held in Pavia, in Italy.
She was first across the line in 57.29 seconds, a season's best and her third fastest time ever.
Her personal best is 57.11 posted at the European U23s in Hungary last year.
This Sunday she will again go head to head with her English rival Sian Scott at the Loughborough International, with Eilidh already picked torepresent Scotland and Sianin line for the Englandspot.
The field at Loughborough for the 400m hurdles will be very strong with GB junior athlete Meghan Beesley also running.
