Silver medalist all set into Spring into action

THE latest candidate to be awarded the Highland Spring Young Sports Person Award is 15-year-old Laura Muir from Kinross.
Laura trains weekly with Dunfermline and West Fife AC and her preferred track events are the 800m and 1500m.
Laura is riding high in the UK and Scottish Rankings and is the current Scottish National 1500m Champion for the U15 Age Category. She was also named the Scottish Games Association Outstanding Female of the year in 2007 and won Team Silver for Scotland in the London Mini Marathon this year.
Laura’s ambitions for the future are to be selected as a candidate for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014.
