Rosie is all set to Spring into action

THE latest candidate to be awarded the Highland Spring Young Sports Person award is Rosie Lucey (16) from Kinross.

Rosie participates in the Tetrathlon, a sport made up from a number of activities including horse riding, swimming and running.

Rosie’s favourite component of this sport is the horse riding where she has to take part in a gruelling cross country course.

She recently won the Regional Tetrathlon championships in Dorset and was the open Scottish Champion for 2008.

She was also awarded the Special Achievement award form Perth and Kinross Council.
