Perth athletes compete in club and national levels

LOCAL athletics club Perth Strathtay Harriers are already having a great 2009 season, with members competing in both club competition and national individual events.

The club is without doubt benefiting from the excellent George Duncan Arena now in its third summer of use.

The coaching team is a valuable asset, working many hours to help the athletes get better in their chosen disciplines.

Recent statistics from Scottish Athletics show the Perth club have moved up the 'club rankings' from 43 in 2005 to 17 this year.

Perth Strathtay Harriers are hosting a Petrofac League meeting at the track this Sunday where they hope for more success both on the track and the field programme.
